The rate of Covid positive results is on the rise and putting English Premier League to another potential halting threat. EPL executives are determined to keep the top world league ongoing and entertaining, but several stakeholders are calling for the league to be shut down until January 2022. Manchester United asked for a postponement of their midweek match against Brentford due to several reported positive covid cases in the team. Owing to the pandemic, it is clear that we will also miss the Manchester United vs Brighton match scheduled for this weekend.

Manchester United vs Brighton Covid News

Manchester United covid-19 outbreak leaves the team with only seven players available, making the match against Brighton impossible. That’s because every team needs to have a minimum of 14 players available for any match to take place. The Premier League called off this match following a guidance from medical advisors citing covid outbreak in Man United’s squad.

Manchester United vs Brighton Prediction

Despite the health crisis in the United’s side, they were expected to win. That’s following their stunning turnaround since Ralf Rangnick took over as the interim manager. Brighton are definitely the underdogs considering their recent poor run with no win since the start of October fixtures.

Note: The Premier League will not leave fans out for now despite the postponed matches and necessary precautionary measures will be put in place.
